This Toll Cabin is circa 1880.  Crossing the Ophir Grade toll road between Virginia City and the ore reduction mills on Washoe Lake could cost as much as $2.00 for a wagon drawn by six or eight animals.

This old wagon was found near the cemetery artifacts.  Perhaps it was used to carry the caskets to their final resting place.

All of the basic supplies could be found at the General Store.  Common items would be pots, lanterns, candles, flour, beans, shovels, cloth, and any other necessities that they could ship over the toll roads.
